Westminster Cemetery and Mausoleum opened its gates in 1926. Located on Bathurst Street between Finch and Steeles, Westminster originally consisted of 26 acres but recently expanded to but recently expanded to 34 when approximately 8 additional acres were acquired.

Westminster offers a full selection of final disposition options including traditional ground burial and various cremation options. However Westminster is most known for its mausoleum.  Westminster built its first mausoleum in 1956 and now has more crypts on its property than any other cemetery in the GTA.

In 2007 Westminster opened its highly publicized "Light of Christ Mausoleum." It is a spectacular mausoleum with a massive two-story entrance featuring a waterfall.
