Mount Auburn Cemetery was founded in 1831 and has been designated as a National Historic Landmark.  Internationally renowned for its beauty and history, Mount Auburn Cemetery continues to provide a high standard of care and maintenance.  There are many options available for burial and commemoration including traditional ground burial, indoor & outdoor cremation niches, and outdoor garden crypts. 

The cemetery also has two beautiful chapels on site that are available for funeral and memorial services.  The Bigelow Chapel was constructed in the 1840s and can seat up to 75 people.  The Story Chapel was completed in 1898.  It was recently refurbished and can seat up to 140 people.
