Gethsemene Memorial Gardens is situated in the heart of Zebulon, North Carolina.  Over the years, thousands of families have chosen Gethsemene Memorial gardens to care for their loved ones. 

We are a perpetual care cemetery, which means that a one time fee is charged at the time of purchase of a space, crypt or niche.  The money is then placed into an irrevocable trust, regulated by the State of North Carolina.  This Trust will be used to maintain the cemetery grounds and buildings into perpetuity, so that the cemetery will continue to serve families for generations to come.

Gethsemene's staff treats all families with the utmost respect, care, and professionalism.  Our counselors are fully trained and licensed by the state Cemetery Commission. All of this ensures that our families are treated with the highest respect and professionalism.  The entire staff, including the president of our corporation (a third generation cemeterian himself) is dedicated to maintaining a peaceful and dignified cemetery for the families we serve.

We are members of ICCFA - International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association. Belonging to ICCFA gives our families peace of mind, providing dollar for dollar credit transfers if you relocate from the area.

Pre-planning

Our highly qualified counselors will gladly meet with you to discuss pre-planning.  There are several reasons why pre-planning makes sense for many people.   For couples, pre-planning allows you to make decisions together.  A surviving spouse is not left with the difficulty of making decisions under tremendous stress and grief.  In addition, children understand their parent's wishes and do not have unanticipated expenses.

When you make your cemetery purchases in advance, the prices are frozen. No matter how high the prices are in the future, your family's costs stay the same.

To help you purchase cemetery property before the need arises, we have several different payment options available. We provide financing with as little as 5% down, bank drafts, or coupons. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and Amex as well as cash and checks. Payment at the time of death is traditionally made on a cash basis.
